So I've decided to start this blog to keep track of my food pictures. Yay, food! I went to Atlanta this past week and tried out some new restaurants with my sister. It's great eating with my sister because we can usually get one appetizer, entree, and dessert, and it's enough for the both of us. In fact, often it's more than enough. Anyway, so here it is starting from the most recent.
[05.19.06] Lawrence's Cafe & Restaurant This was a nice small Lebanese restaurant. The food was good and all but it was strange because we were the only customers there when we first walked in. Later on 3 Hispanic dudes came in to eat but they left before we finished.
Lawrence's Platter A combination of lamb kebob, kafta, kibbi, grape leaves, chicken, & felafel served with rice
This was a nice date place serving Mediterranean cuisine. Kinda on the pricer end but the food was excellent and not as expensive just because we shared food.
Rum-Cured Salmon Featuring Bacardi "8" rum, garnished with chopped egg, caviar, capers, onions, fennel remoulade and herbed crostini.
Lemon Sponge Custard Fresh lemon custard and light lemon sponge cake served warm and topped with fresh Chantilly cream and Raspberry sauce.
[05.16.06] California Pizza Kitchen
Singapore Shrimp Rolls Sauteed shrimp, baby broccoli, soy-glazed Shiitake mushrooms, Romaine, carrots, noodles, bean sprouts, green onion and cilantro wrapped in rice paper. Served chilled with a sesame ginger dipping sauce and Szechuan slaw.
Roasted Potato & Grilled Chicken Pizza Garlic chicken, herb-roasted Yukon Gold potatoes, Mozzarella cheese, rosemary, oregano and Italian parsley with a white wine and lemon-garlic butter sauce.
During a good meal, you savor the taste of good food but it's easily forgotten after the meal. This blog is for me to remember those meals and drool over them again =P
